4eyez Taxi CCTV Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase, installation, and use of the 4eyez Taxi CCTV system by taxi and private hire vehicle drivers. By purchasing a 4eyez Taxi CCTV system, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Purchase and Payment
• Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
• Any applicable taxes, installation fees, or additional charges will be clearly stated before purchase.
• 4eyez reserves the right to adjust pricing or offer promotional discounts at its discretion.

3. Installation
• Installation must be carried out by an approved 4eyez technician or an authorised partner.
• The driver is responsible for ensuring their vehicle meets any necessary requirements for CCTV installation including a fully functional battery of at least 90% health.
• Any modifications to the system after installation without prior approval will void the warranty.

4. Warranty and Support
• The CCTV system is covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty for defects in materials and workmanship.
• The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised modifications.
• Technical support is available via contacting your 4eyez Taxi CCTV representative or installer during business hours.

5. Data Protection and Compliance
• The driver is responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Appropriate signage must be displayed in the vehicle informing passengers that CCTV is in operation.
• Recorded data must be stored securely and accessed only in compliance with legal requirements.
• Footage must not be shared with unauthorised parties and should only be disclosed to law enforcement or relevant authorities when legally required.

6. Use and Maintenance
• The CCTV system must only be used for the intended purpose of enhancing safety and security.
• The driver must perform regular system checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Any faults or maintenance issues should be reported to 4eyez immediately for support and repairs.

7. Limitations of Liability
• 4eyez Taxi CCTV is not responsible for any fines, penalties, or legal actions resulting from improper use or failure to comply with regulatory requirements.
• 4eyez Taxi CCTV is not liable for any loss of footage due to system malfunctions, power failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• In no event shall 4eyez be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination and Refunds
• Refunds are available only for faulty products returned within 14 days of purchase.
• Once installed, the system is non-refundable unless deemed defective under warranty.
• 4eyez reserves the right to terminate service agreements if the driver is found in breach of these terms.

9. Amendments
• 4eyez reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the company website or direct notification.
